Obituary:
John Ricetti of Redwood Valley passed away on January 11, 2012 at Ukiah Valley Medical Center with his family present. John was born September 15, 1917 in Sherwood Valley, Ca.
John was a grape grower for over 70 years. He was well known for the budding of many acres of grapes in the Redwood Valley and Ukiah area. His family will remember his quick wit and his practical jokes he played. In addition, nobody could prune his grapes!
John loved to hunt and fish.
John and his wife Rosa were married April 6, 1940. This year they would have celebrated 72 years of marriage.
John is survived by his wife Rosa Ricetti of Redwood Valley, Ca. daughter Nancy Ricetti Reynolds and her husband Lee of Mountain Home, Id. son John Ricetti of Redwood Valley, Ca. sister Kathryn Abshire of Redwood Valley, Ca. grandchildren Rick Ricetti and his wife Michele of Redwood Valley, Ca. Richard Brown and his wife Kelli of Eagle, Id. Raymond Brown and his wife Teri of Cascade, Id. and Rob Ricetti and his wife Linda of Redwood Valley, Ca., four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. John was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Eversole Mortuary at 11:00 AM.
