Obituary:
Virginia Roach passed away peacefully on November 6th two weeks prior to her 94th birthday. Her final days were spent at her daughters home surrounded by her four loving daughters at her side.
Virginia was born in San Francisco and lived there until her teens, when her family relocated to Menlo Park, CA. She married her high school sweetheart Jack Roach in 1944. Following their dream of living a country life they moved their family to Potter Valley in 1957. There they enjoyed raising their family and country living for 42 years.
Virginia was a kind and loving woman who took great pride in her family and home. She will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and love of family and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 63 years Jack Roach.
She is survived by her four daughters: Jane Lemke (spouse Bernie) of Ukiah, CA; Kathy Fletcher of Grants Pass, OR; Marilynn Simmons of Woodland, CA; Jaci Barrett of St. Louis, MO.
Surviving grandchildren are: Matt Hewitt (spouse Susan); Megan McChesney (spouse Greg); Mike Clark; Stacey Caico (spouse Ken); Chad Simmons (spouse Jamie); Cory Simmons.
She is also survived by her two sisters Barbara Courter of Roseburg, OR; Lucille Lawrence of Palo Alto, CA; by her sister-in-law Helen Roach of Menlo Park, CA; and by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 Wednesday, November 16th at the Potter Valley Cemetery,
