Roberto Ayon Jr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roberto Ayon Jr. 48, of Ukiah CA. on Thursday, September 26th, 2024. 

Born on November 9th, 1975 to Roberto Ayon Sr and Maria Ayon, Roberto grew up in Hopland, CA among the beautiful vineyards and old oak trees. He attended Hopland Elementary, St. Mary's school and South Valley. 

As an adult he moved to Ukiah and began a career in healthcare. Roberto was a devoted father and caregiver to his youngest daughter Amelia Ayon with the support of nurse and friend Cheryl Eberhardt, RN. 

Roberto was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to the races at the Ukiah Speedway even riding along as a passenger. He enjoyed gardening, watching the Oakland Raiders and gathering with family.

Roberto is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Carmen Montes and Amelia's mother Lavonne Abella, proud member of the Hopland Band of Pomo Indians. 

He leaves behind his twin brother Luis and his wife Lacey, brothers Ricky and his wife Misty, and Alex and his partner Jess, sisters Alejandra and her husband Arnulfo and Laura Ayon. He will be greatly missed by his eldest daughter Larissa Ayon, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.
