Obituary:
Edris M. Robinson, 96, of Ukiah passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Ukiah Valley Medical Center. Edris was born November 19, 1914 in Canada. Edris lived in Castro Valley and Hawaii prior to moving to Ukiah 20 years ago. She was a secretary and a realtor during her working years. On November 19, 1934 Edris married her childhood sweet heart, the late Walter Robinson.
She was proud of helping found Western Christadelphian Bible School, Calaveras Bible School and Castro Valley Community Center. She was a Sunday school teacher, room mother, PTA President, Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader, and C.R.C. Retirement Home Founder. Edris' family will remember her faith, love of family, kindness to those in need and that she was the best mom ever. Edris' favorite quote was "Wait on the Lord, Be of good courage and He will strengthen your heart. Wait, I say on the Lord" psalm 24:14.Edris became a Christadelphian 81 years ago.
She is survived by her daughter Anne (Cedarholm) Creekmore of Ukiah, daughter in law Millie Robinson of Dublin, sister Mary C. Cedarholm of San Lorenzo, grandchildren John (Anne) Cedarholm, Cynthia Paiva, Daniel Cedarholm jr., Jeff (Raylene)
Cedarholm, Michael Ness, Kelly (Kristy) Robinson, Kim (Jim) Zamrzla, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Edris was preceded in death by her husband Walter on July 14, 1999, son Donald on August 23, 2008, son in law Carl Paiva in 2010 and parents Albert and Lily Ormerod.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011 from 4-8 pm at the Eversole
Mortuary, a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the
Eversole Mortuary at 2:00 pm. A grave side service will be held on Friday,
May 20, 2011 in Santa Barbara, Ca. at 3:00 pm.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Eversole Mortuary.
