Ukiah, California
Obituary:
On Wednesday, August 5th, 2020, Manuel (Manny) Luis Ayala-Rodriguez, beloved son, grandson, friend, brother, and father passed away at age 23.
Manny was born on August 23rd, 1996 in Ukiah, California. He was the eldest brother of two sisters. He was also the first grandson of the family, sharing a close heartfelt relationship with his grandfather. Before his passing, Manny was also starting his journey of fatherhood, to his baby boy Xavier.
Manny was a compassionate, charismatic, and family-oriented person. Everyone who knew him knew how much family meant to him, and his love for family was his driving force to be hard-working and motivated. He loved traditions, like going to Mexico annually with his grandfather since he was a young boy or a family game night on weekends. He was the life of the party, with a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He was outgoing and ambitious, he valued friendship deeply and the support we got from his friends showed how much they also valued their friendship with him too. He was known for his stalky presence, there was no way he would go unnoticed. He was a big guy with a big heart, and loved deeply by his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother and father, Rebecca and Ricardo Rodriguez, grandfather, Luis Rodriguez, sisters, Marcella and Sophia Rodriguez, girlfriend Lulu Alvarez, his sons JR Sanchez and Xavier Rodriguez and his uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Pam Rodriguez. He will be remembered in many ways by more family members and friends.
We thank you to everyone who has reached out and supported our family during this time of mourning, and a big thank you to everyone who has contributed to the funeral services, it is greatly appreciated. Manny will be missed greatly by his family, friends, and sons.
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in whats to be,
A resting place along the road to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys, different paths along the way.
We were all meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay.
Our destination is a place far greater than we know
For some, the journeys quicker, For some, the journeys slow.
And when the journey finally ends, well claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the Lord.
