Salvador Pulido Rojas
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be said for Salvador Pulido Rojas of Ukiah on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ukiah Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 7 p.m. at Eversole Mortuary. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Born December 1, 1927 in Mexico, he has lived in this area for the past 69 years working in agriculture and construction. Salvador was a member of Concilio Latino Americano, he enjoyed fishing and camping. He will be remembered for the care and love he had for his family, his suffering through his injuries and illness. He was a very strong, loving husband, father and grandfather. He will also be remembered for the hard labor he put in bringing his parents, brothers and sisters to America. He was loved by many people and was a very loyal and good friend. Favorite saying, Ya paque. meaning What for.
Salvador in survived by his wife Guadalupe Rojas of Ukiah, daughter Yolanda Rojas Alvarez of Santa Rosa, sons Alberto Rojas and Salvador Rojas Jr. of Ukiah, sisters Magdalena Basulto of Mexico, Amelia Lozano of Wilmingto, Ca, Eva Sanchez of Hawaiian Gardens, Ca, Luz Salceda of San Pedro, Ca, brothers Pedro Rojas Pulido and Jose Rojas of San Pedro, Ca, Antonio Rojas of Ukiah, Vence Rojas of Paris Lake, Ca, grandchildren Lydia Rojas of La Quinta, Ca, Alberto Joseph A.J. Rojas and Teresa Rojas of Ukiah, Iliana and Bryana Alvarez of Santa Rosa, Erick, Elijah and Nevaeh Gaytan of La Quinta, Ca and three great grandchildren.
