Obituary:
Maclovio Tsudyunn “Hummingbird” Romero passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2016 in Santa Rosa, California at the age of 19. Maclovio Romero is survived by his girlfriend Harmony Hutchins, Father Alfredo Garibay-Romero Sr. and Mother Suzanne Trevino-Romero. He is preceded in death by Grandfather Norberto Trevino-Olvera of Mexico, Salvador Garibay of Mexico, Grandmother Elena Romero of Mexico, Great grandmother Kate Daniels of Point Arena Manchester.
Maclovio Romero was born on April 26, 1997 in Ukiah, California to Suzanne Trevino-Romero and Alfredo Garibay-Romero Sr. of Hopland, California. Maclovio leaves behind his Grandmother-Cynthia Daniels, Brothers Freddy Jr. and Salvador “Chava” Romero, Sisters-Elena, Katelyn Romero and Tania McCloud, Aunts: Ophelia Garibay, Lusila Garibay, Elvia Garibay, Renetta Payer, Tonya Hernandez, Uncles: Alfonso Garibay, Fransico Garibay, Jorge Garibay, Samuel Garibay, Jesus Garibay, Roberto Garibay, Javier Garibay, Bud Hernandez, Bert Trevino with 2 Nieces: Laila and Monroe Romero 1=Nephew: Savior Romero.
Maclovio was a proud Tribal Member of the Hopland Band of Pomo Indians, Maclovio was a Traditional Native American Pomo and Bear dancer known by many in his community he was an accomplished tattoo artist who always loved to spend time with his family and friends. He grew up playing baseball, football and loved to play basketball. He was a 49er fan and always loved sporting his favorite jerseys. He was a very sweet, kind hearted, intelligent and giving person who could brighten up a room with his big smile and always enjoyed his backwoods cigars.
A (funeral, celebration of life) is scheduled for viewing Thursday Sep 22, from 4 pm through Sunday Sept 26, 2016 @ Hopland Tribal Center 3000 Shanel Road Hopland, CA
Sunday, September 26 @ 1 p.m. we will be sending Maclovio to rest at the Hopland Tribal cemetery with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Maclovio’s life.
