Obituary:
Wesley Loren Ronk crossed over into eternity on April 30, 2013 at 73 years of age. When he was 17 years old, he enlisted in the US Navy, where he spent his twenty year career on submarines and gunboats. The friends he made as a servicemember were the friends that he treasured for his lifetime, and still visited once a year until recently. As a young man, he met and married his soulmate, Rita L. Clement. They spent their fifty plus years together traveling and living abroad as well as raising three children. Upon his retirement from the Navy, he moved to Ukiah, CA to be near friends and family. He enrolled at Mendocino College and received degrees in Business Administration and Accounting. He owned and operated Ukiah Small Equipment Repair for years before retiring into grandparenthood. Wes had a strong work ethic, and strong love for country and family. He is dearly missed by his wife, Rita Ronk and three children: Victor Ronk; Kenneth Ronk and wife Karin; and Dorothy Lampi and husband John; as well as his three grandchildren: Evan Lampi, Clayton Ronk and Macey Lampi.
