Ruth Marie McCoy

Ruth Marie McCoy (Ruthi), passed on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd, 2024 in her home in Ukiah. Ruth was born on May 9th, 1959 in Orange, CA. Her parents are Bea Vedolla(Sam Wisley) and late Howard McCoy(Martha McCoy). She is survived by her brother Alfredo Vedolla and sisters Regina McCoy, Cheryl John, and Rachel McCoy. Her deceased sisters Phyllis Burrows(Kat), Lisa Fred, Rogina McCoy(Oakie), and Sophia Vedolla. Daughters are Natasha Butler, Crystal Knight, Jessica Buenrostro, and Sofiah Buenrostro. Grandchildren are Tylor Basaldua, Makenna McOsker, Shyann Basaldua, Daniel Knight, Godfrey John, Genesis Lopez and Jesse Damian. Great grandchild is Ellianna Hernandez. Ruth is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ruth moved to Ukiah in the early 60's when she was a little girl and lived most of her life here. She was very outgoing, adventerous and loved nature. Her favorite place was the ocean. She loved being with friends and family. Her hobbies were writing quotes and coloring art. She loved listening to all kinds of music. She was one of a kind. She will definetly be missed but never forgotten.
