Ilene E. Sanchez on August 3, 2012, went to be with her heavenly father. Born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, July 27, 1924 to John Westley Mulkey and Janie Corbon. Ilene was a waitress in the bay area for over 55 years. The last restaurant she worked at was Emmel Villa in Walnut Creek.
She leaves 3 sons and 2 daughters. Son, Clifford Andrews and wife Jeannise of Ukiah, California, son, Bill Andrews and wife Laurie of Eureka, California, daughter, Gloria Wills of Sanger, California, daughter, Betty Anne Silva and husband Scott of Payette, Idaho, son, Dennis Sanchez of Weston, Florida. She leaves 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Ilene was a devout member of the Ukiah Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. Ilene was a gardener that could make anything grow with hard work and loving care. She was always a very devoted and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be dearly missed. Memorial services will be at the Ukiah Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints, Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 1 p.m.
