Obituary:
Joan Marie Satterwhite of Ukiah passed away February 2, 2011 with her family present. Joan was born August 15, 1924 in Fivizzano, Italy.
Joan had resided in Ukiah for the past 61 years. She along with her late husband Robert owned and ran The Lido Restaurant. Joan was involved in the Soroptimist of Ukiah and was a Blood Bank Volunteer.
Joan is survived by her son Steven Satterwhite of Windsor, Ca. grandchildren Troy Satterwhite and Tracy Johnson of Redwood Valley, Ca. and 8 great grandchildren. Joan was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1984.
Private services were held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Chapel. Joan was entombment at the Ukiah Cemetery.
The family prefers memorial contributions in Joan’s name to Hospice of Ukiah or Cancer Resource Center of Mendocino County.
