Obituary:
Don Schwank, 53, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011. Don was born September 16, 1957 in Loveland, Co.
Don attended school in Ukiah, lived in Santa Rosa for many years and in the last year returned to the Ukiah area. Don received his Bachelor of Science degree as an Electronic Engineer; he was the owner of J&J Golf Carts.
He was proud of his two sons Dylan and Travis and supportive of his family and friends. Don liked to go hunting, fishing and diving. During the last year of Don’s life, he had been under an enormous amount of physical and emotional pain.
Don is survived by his two sons Dylan and Travis Schwank of Santa Rosa, Ca. parents Jerry and Janet Schwank of Ukiah, Ca. sisters Suzi Schwank of Santa Rosa, Ca. and Patty Aoyama of Washington, his companion Debbie Newby and his ex wife Mary Schwank of Santa Rosa, Ca. Don also leaves many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Eversole Mortuary at 1:00 PM. A gathering following the service will be held at the Ukiah Elks Lodge.
