Donald Milton Shortridge
Don was born June 18, 1938 and passed January 16, 2015 here in Ukiah.
He graduated from Ukiah High school and worked all of his life in ranching. Don managed the Twining Ranch, worked for the Ruddick Ranch, Mendocino Vineyards and the Kunzler Ranch.
Don was happiest hunting, fishing, camping and being in the great outdoors with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel & Alice Shortridge.
Don is survived by his daughter Tammy, sons Eric and Joseph and sister Sandra. Also Don leaves numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and his best friend Albert Stambaugh.
The family wants to thank Redwood Cove Heath Center and Ukiah Valley Medical Center for their excellent care.
As to Don’s request there will be no funeral and a family celebration of life will be held at a future date. The family prefers memorial donations to one’s favorite charity.
