N. Norris Smith

Graveside services for Norris Smith will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Kingsburg Cemetery in Kingsburg, California. Norris passed away on Monday, October 4, 2010 in Ukiah.
Born May 23, 1923 in Arkansas, he moved with his family to Dinuba, California in the 1930’s. Norris served in England during WWII in the US Army Air Corps. He was a warehouseman for DelMonte in Alameda for 50 years. He lived in San Leandro for over 50 years. He was a resident at Mountain View Assisted Living in Ukiah, where he will be greatly missed.
Norris is survived by his nephew Jerry Eddy and wife Irma, two sister-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Margie in September 2009.
