Laurie Spears
Funeral services for Laurie Spears of Ukiah will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Eversole Mortuary. Interment will follow at Ukiah Cemetery. Laurie passed away at her home on Sunday, January 20, 2013 with her family by her side.
Born April 24, 1917 in Florida, Laurie grew up in northern Mendocino County and has lived in Ukiah for the last 36 years. Laurie will be remembered for her sweet smile, her wonderful dancing, home cooking and “from scratch” biscuits.
Laurie is survived by her husband of 36 years, William Spears, daughter Louise of Yuba City and granddaughter Lydia Cook of Yuba City.
Eversole Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
