Obituary:
Lorraine Louise Beister Stout passed peacefully at her home, with her family present on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. She was born August 10, 1936 in Beckworth, California.
Lorraine is survived by her husband Bob Stout Sr., her sons Bob Jr. (Vicki), Steve (Robin), Randy (Terri), sisters Valerie Brown of Susanville, CA, Carolyn Keeler of Doyle, CA and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Lorraine is preceded in death by her daughter Kim Stout and brother Walter Beister.
Lorraine moved to Ukiah with her family in 1951. She married Bob Sr. on March 5, 1952. Lorraine had a successful career as an LVN and RN and worked at Hillside Hospital and Ukiah Valley Adventist Hospital for over 35 years. She retired in 2002.
The family extends its heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Lorraine’s caregivers and the staff of Ukiah Valley Adventist Hospital, who helped care for her.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Ukiah Cemetery.
Donations can be made to the Ukiah Senior Center in lieu of flowers.
