Thomas Eugene Thies

Graveside services for Thomas Eugene Thies will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Ukiah Cemetery. Tom passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 1, 2012.
Born September 14, 1942, Tom has lived in the Ukiah area for the past 60 years. He was a longtime sawmill supervisor and after retirement worked as a windshield repairman. He was most proud of and will be remembered for his love of his family, his career and his garden. He was a member of the Ukiah High Alumni, Elks Lodge and Sons of Italy.
Tom is survived by his sons, Timothy Thies and wife Tanya, Edward Thies and wife Kerri, Thomas Thies and wife Nichealle, grandchildren Shellie, Justin, Jaiden, Thomas Jr., Lillianne, Lucien, Tara, Teresa, Travis and Sean and 2 great grandchildren, step-son Peter Moyer and wife Naomi, step-daughter Tami Lucchetti and husband Mike, step-grandchildren Shiloh, Dustin and Brady. He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Eloise, his parents Helen and Victor and by his sister Kathy.
