Obituary:
Michael Pete Thompson, a lifelong resident of Redwood Valley, passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2012. He was born on May 21, 1955 in Ukiah, to Gloria and Oren Thompson. Mike and his wife Pam were married on May 15, 1976. Mike was proudest of his family and his greatest joy was his grandchildren Lily and Adam. He inherited a love of cooking from his mother and grandmother. Mike also held a special place in his heart for working with his family in their business. He was a people person and a good friend to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
Mike is survived by his wife Pam, children Amy Lewis and husband Josh, Sara Pierce and husband Brad, and Andy Thompson, grandchildren Lily and Adam Lewis, father Oren Thompson, sister Kathy Ault and husband Joe, brother Jim Thompson and wife Lisa and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Thompson.
Services will be held at Eversole Mortuary on Monday, May 14th at 9 a.m. There will be a viewing from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the mortuary. Donations may be made in his memory to Ukiah Sons of Italy or Redwood Valley Fire Department. Arrangements are under the direction of Eversole Mortuary.
