Troy L. Standridge (Lee)

Troy L. Standridge (Lee) passed away peacefully on February 2, 2024. He was born on June 27, 1945 to Troy F. and Hazel Standridge in Modesto, CA. 

In 1972 Lee was transferred to Ukiah, CA while working for Weisfield’s Jewelers. When other transfers started coming through he chose to remain in Ukiah to raise the family. He fulfilled a dream of his when he opened S&S VW Specialties rebuilding and restoring Volkswagens.

Lee enjoyed camping, fishing, dune buggying, and traveling the western US in a VW camper van with the family.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Karren Standridge, niece Brenda Bonde and husband Wayne, great nephews Christopher Bonde and wife Jackie, Thomas Bonde and wife Amber, great great nephews Silas and Hyrum Bonde, and many others he considered family.

Lee was preceded in death by his son and best friend Paul Standridge, brother James Standridge and wife Tommie, and parents Troy F. and Hazel Standridge.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
