Obituary:
Heaven has gained another angel, Kyle Edward Vonfeldt, 36 of Potter Valley left this earth the morning of May 10, 2021. Kyle was born July 14, 1984 to Kathryn and Samual Vonfeldt. He was born and raised in Potter Valley California, the valley he loved so much. Kyle attended Potter Valley schools from preschool through 12th grade. He went on to attend Mendocino Junior College and played for the Eagles football team. Kyle loved welding and spent many years perfecting his craft, eventually operating his own business KSV Fabrication, named in memory of his beloved mother who passed away in 2011.
You may remember Kyle as a skilled athlete, a long-time 4H and FFA member, and as one of the proudest Americans on Memorial Day at the Potter Valley Rodeo. Kyle was a fierce protector of his family, a skilled fabricator, charismatic friend, and a beloved member of the Potter Valley community. Kyle was a wonderful son, brother, cousin, uncle and friend who left a distinct mark on anyone who encountered him. Kyle always had a way of making everyone feel special.
He is survived by his loving family, father Samual Vonfeldt; sisters Jaime, Whitney and Shanelle Vonfeldt, Sierra (Seth) Goeken; Nieces and nephews, Johnathan, Kathryn, Jameson Phillips and Sloane Goeken; aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
The Celebration of Kyles Life will be held at the Potter Valley Rodeo Grounds at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021.
If desired in lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Potter Valley Athletic programs in memory of Kyle.
