Armstead leaves behind a large family, his children Mary Lou (Archie) Lopez, Yardy (Pat) Want, Karen (Pino) Ramos, Jeff Want, Reuben ( Rose) Want, Shawn Want, Brad Want, Rolinda Want, Armstead Want, Jr., Rindy (Shorty) Want, Reggie Reboca & Ricky Reboca. Grandchildern, Rodrick, Aaron, Darren, Yardy, Jr., Marlow, Coleen, Casey, Crystal, Tonya, Julie, Felisa, Carwin, Michelle, Phillip, Rueben, Jeff Jr., Dana, Clint, Dennis, Brandy, Jackie, Stacy, Brian, Amy, Hailey, Lil Shawn, Minnie, Shanie, Jasper, Ben, Miles, Jaleen, Gina, Aiyanna, Zoey, Lesia, Lakea, Vernon, Justice, Alonzo, Aileen, Charlene and Timothy. He is also survived by his sisters, Carol Gonzales, Irma (Arnold) Hoaglin, Virginia (George) Whipple, Bobbie (Robert) Anderson and Henrietta (Lewis) Simmons, brother Ray Britton.
He was preceded in death by Henry Hayes, Caliesta Want, Wanda Want, Lester Azbill, Francis Phillips, Minnie & Al Want, Dennis Want, Willard Fulwider, Linda Medina, Wanda Loftlin, Charlene Want and Robert Want. Also several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Covelo Rec. Center. Viewing will be on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Covelo Rec. Center starting at 2:00 PM.
