Obituary:
Bonnie Suzanne (Hester/Granados) Wegner passed away peacefully at home on March 4, 2014. Born April 4, 1970, she is survived by her parents Ted and Carole Hester, and her children, Robyn M. Granados and Jordan J. Wegner and brother John Hester.
Bonnie was fighter from the beginning: She only weighted five pounds when she was born in Fresno but was so strong the doctors let her come home instead of deeming her a “preemie.” Last year when she spent a month in the hospital in San Francisco, all five medical specialists were astounded at her will to live. She wanted to “be there” for her children, whom she loved dearly.
Bonnie was quick to love, full of compassion and helpfulness despite being in intense pain the last two years of her life from Scleroderma, an autoimmune disease. For example, she hosted a baby shower for a young friend with no family just days before her death.
Bonnie loved people and animals. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of her life will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 900 So. Dora St. Ukiah, Ca. on Saturday March 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM.
The family would like to thank her many caregivers and loving friends.
