Obituary:
Sonya Jean Wigaard of Ukiah passed away February 27, 2012. Sonya was born February 24, 1944 in Ukiah, she was 68.
Sonya was famous locally as Diamond Jim’s Deli Manager. Her family will remember her love for her friends, family and tending to her flowers and garden. She would often say, “What’s that got to do with the price of tea in China..”
Sonya is survived by her companion Roy Stone of Cloverdale, Ca. daughter Brenda S. Hodges of Ukiah, Ca. and her boyfriend Michael Prescott of Willits, Ca. father Arthur R. Annis of Sebastopol, Ca. grandchildren Scott Kile and Deidre Kile of Ukiah, Ca. great grandchildren Madalyn and Giuliana Getts and sister Lisa James of Paso Robles, Ca. Sonya was predeceased by her mother Ima Jean Annis, and sons Patrick Wayne Riley and Michael James Riley.
At Sonya’s request, no services will be held.
Memorial donations in Sonya’s name may be made to Hospice of Ukiah.
