Obituary:
Dana Wildberger, a lifelong Ukiah resident, passed away October 5, 2011 suddenly at UVMC surrounded by his loved ones. Dana (age 49) was born February 23, 1962, to Dirk and Lorraine (Bartolomei) Wildberger. He is survived by his parents, daughter Charmaine Harrington-Wildberger, grandson Keegan Valadez, brother Todd, and sister-in-law Patty Martin all of Ukiah. Passionate about life, he enjoyed bicycle rides, disc golfing and music. Dana was a very proud drummer following in the successful footsteps of his father, an accomplished jazz drummer. Dana was proud to carry on that “wild” beat that was heard throughout this community. He will be remembers for his great smile, his generous service to the community, his big heart, the ability to make people laugh and his warm personality. He was pre deceased by his brother Dirk Jr. (Chip), his sister Starlet (Cookie), and his son Keegan. There will be no services. His daughter is organizing a “Tribute to Life” concert honoring his famous words “Rock and Roll, girlfriend”. Please contact her at 707-391-6144 for more information.
