Donald Franklin Wiles,

A resident of Ukiah, Donald Wiles passed away on May 18th at his home.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Ukiah Cemetery.
He was born on December 25, 1936 in Mendocino, Ca. to Charles R. & Edna Wiles. He was raised in Ukiah and attended local schools. He was the youngest of nine siblings.
He was self-employed in the automotive repair business for over 40 years.
Don enjoyed fishing, bowling, driving his modified race car #21, going to Reno to Hot August Nights with his good friend Tom Stone. He was always able to make small talk, he never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Shirley Ann and three sons Gary Lynn, Timothy Wayne (Beth) and Cory Allen (Toni). His granddaughters Ashle’ Ann Garcia & Nichole Wiles, two great grandchildren Mickey Wayne & Dahlia Garcia, along with numerous nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles & Edna Wiles and 8 siblings. Alice Eads, Glen Wiles (Rose), Ruth Stipp (Dallas), Charles L. Wiles (Mary), Edwin Wiles, Marjorie Silva, Dorothy Perry (Leo) Chuck and Gloria Caulfield.
The family would like to thank his care givers from Phoenix Hospice; they were very helpful and kind throughout his illness. The family prefers contributions in his name be made to Phoenix Hospice, 100 San Hedrin Circle, Willits, Ca. 95490.
