Obituary:
Thomas Sidney Williams, died at his home in Santa Rosa on Wednesday November 2, 2011 with his family by his side. A native of Ukiah, he was 87. Sid had worked as a mechanic and served in the US Army during WWII as an MP and having earned the Sharpshooter medal.
He will be remembered for his generosity, family, profession and love of hobby – automobiles; the latest being a 1931 Model A. He was a great story-teller.
Sid is survived by his wife of 63 years Donna Williams of Santa Rosa, daughter Victoria Hartwig, sons Michael Williams, Allen Williams and Steve Williams all of Santa Rosa, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother Leila Beckley.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 19, 2011 at Bethel Baptist Church, 1577 Guerneville Road, Santa Rosa beginning at 1:30 pm with Pastor Pat Gordon officiating and military honors rendered by the US Army. Private inurnment was held at Ukiah Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
