Mary Elisabeth Woods
Graveside services for Mary Woods of Ukiah will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Boonville. Willie Roberts will officiate. Mary passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Ukiah Healthcare with her family by her side.
Born March 21, 1926 in Avant, Arkansas, she married Clarence Woods on June 26, 1945. Mary has resided in Mendocino County for the past 62 years. She will be remembered for her ready smile, jubilant laugh, beautiful gardens, apple pies and cinnamon rolls.
Mary is survived by her daughters Brenda Holcomb (James) and Patricia Ann Morgan (Larry), sisters Novella Morrison of Arkansas, Desbie Miller of California, Gracie Guinn and Jessie Horton of Arkansas, brother J.C. Blake of Missouri, grandchildren Jami Holcomb Valentine, Tami Holcomb, Keri Rynearson, Shannon Markgard and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, parents John and Nancy Blake, daughter Joyce Rynearson, and brothers Odell and Claude Blake.
